Expansion of the team over the few years has now resulted in a Cheshire-based company looking to hire a Lab Technician/Manager to support the team of chemists conducting synthetic and analytical work. Your day to day duties as a Lab Technician/Manager will be:
- Managing stock levels and supplier relationships
- Keeping the lab running with regards to consumables and equipment
- Arranging dispatch of samples to clients
- Potential to conduct some synthetic or analytical work of your own dependent on your scientific background
You will be an ideal candidate with this background:
- A science degree
- Interest in doing a part-time (2.5 days per week) job
- A track record in laboratory work
- Willingness to go the extra mile to impress clients
- A good team-working approach
- A driving licence and car
