Job description - E&I Operator Maintainer

We are seeking a dynamic and resilient operations team member to be part of a team that manufacture products that allow business objectives to be met. You will have the freedom to work and be responsible for plant operations and all associated documentation. The role focus includes operational excellence, knowledge sharing and empowering colleagues to excel; 

What you will do as a E&I Control Operator Maintainer 

Ensure Health and Safety of people and product always remains a priority

Report all incidences from active monitoring, completing investigations when required

Write and execute Permits to Work for both colleagues and contractors

Complete environmental and hygiene monitoring

Perform day-to-day operation of manufacturing plant through computer controlled and manual operations

Place focus on efficiency, effectiveness such as yield, utilisation, losses, expensive and targets

Perform day-to-day repairs and fault finding. Carry out PM tasks, breakdown repairs and condition monitoring as required

Identify deviations and take corrective actions where required

Review and interpret historical data on equipment in order to complete proactive works wherever possible

Develop and maintain all associated documentation and work tickets required for cGMP, SOP generation, risk assessments, OSSCE and continuous improvement

Assist with the acceptance and sampling of deliveries and movements of materials

Be a proactive pivotal team member to all shift patterns, that maintains manufacturing equipment and contributes continual improvement ideas to aid a 24/7 365 environment

Proactively collaborate with all areas of the business to seek out continual improvement and present innovative ideas and solutions

Be a brand advocate, demonstrating our values in all you do

What is the Essential Criteria for the role of a E&I Control Operator Maintainer 

Recognised NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship or HNC in Electrical, Instrument or Control discipline

OR

Degree level education in an relevant discipline, with at least 2 years practical experience

Strong and demonstrable experience of working in a manufacturing environment

What is the Desirable Criteria for the role of a E&I Control Operator Maintainer 

Prior experience of working on a COMAH site (Lower, Upper or Top)
