A biotechnology company based in Oxfordshire are seeking an Upstream/Downstream Process Team Leader to join their team who are focussed on developing therapeutics for the treatment of cancer.
As the Team Leader you will manage a team of around 5/6 Scientists and be responsible for process development, scale up and technical transfer. You will also manage the upstream and downstream process to ensure the development of robust manufacturing processes for cGMP manufacture.
Requirement for the role:-
- BSc or higher degree in Biotechnology or Bioprocess or similar subject
- Experience in biologics manufacturing process development and scale up ideally within a GMP facility
- Experience in providing subject matter expertise to the analysis and evaluation of results
- You must be highly organised and self motivated, technically competent and capable of working independently in a lab setting
