A Pharmaceutical CDMO are currently recruiting for a Technical Operations Manager to join their manufacturing facility in the North East.
As an Technical Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading all technical related functions for new product introductions including pre-formulation, formulation, analytical and process development
Responsibilities
- Leading NPI, process development, tech transfer and scale up projects at a multi-dose pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
- Providing technical and strategic guidance to sales and project teams, producing capability reports, timelines and project plans
- Interact with 3rd party manufacturers to provide technical support during process development, scale-up, tech transfer and commercialisation
- Line management of a team of formulation scientists and process technologists
Requirements
- BSc/MSc or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering or related field
- Extensive hands-on experience within pharmaceutical formulation, process development and scale-up
- Prior experience with various pharmaceutical dosage forms including solid, liquid and semi solid
