A human cell culture specialist biotechnology company based in Edinburgh are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their expanding business. The role involves working with a team across multiple sites and both the Logistics and Inventory Managers will report in to the Supply Chain Manager.
The responsibilities for the role are:-
- You will be responsible for ongoing management of purchasing strategy and activity and for ensuring optimal supplier performance and cost.
- You will have full responsibility for the group and ensure that the company has supply chain optimisation by ensuring a focussed strategy is in place to have adequate stock levels, reliable approved suppliers that are cost efficient and timely.
- You will be responsible for all staff training, undertake staff appraisals and 1-2-1's in a professional manner.
