Hours - Mon-Fri 6am-2pm/1:30pm-9:30pm weekly rotation
A Pharmaceutical CDMO part of an international group are recruiting a for a Senior Shift QC Analyst to join their team in South Wales providing a great opportunity to gain experience in a position of leadership within the laboratory
As a Senior Shift QC Analyst you will be the most senior point of contact outside of traditional hours and be responsible for all routine analysis along with investigation of none-conformances, troubleshooting equipment and liaising with other departments to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis on raw materials, in-process, finished products and stability samples using various analytical techniques including HPLC, GC and UV-vis.
- Preparation and completion of GMP related documentation (SOPs, batch records, etc.)
- Investigate any deviations, identifying the Root Cause and implement relevant change controls, CAPAs
- Act as point of contact within the laboratory for any none-conformances, issues etc
Requirements
- BSc or equivalent in a Chemistry related subject is essential
- Significant practical experience with HPLC, GC and wet chemistry techniques is essential
- Prior experience with QA based activities including deviations, change controls, CAPAs, authoring and reviewing documentation is essential
