An Oxford-based biotechnology company is seeking a Senior Scientist to play a pivotal role to spearhead the development of their TCR-based therapies to treat cancer.
As a Senior Scientist you will be responsible for overseeing and driving multiple key aspects of the TCR engineering process. This includes leading and executing various in vitro TCR screening and cellular TCR analysis assays, working closely with the team to advance genetic engineering techniques. Additionally, you will conduct primary cell culture from blood and tissue samples, utilise flow cytometry for cellular analysis and sorting, lead single-cell TCR sequencing and NGS workflow development, and perform data processing and analysis using R or similar tools.
Requirements for this role include:
- PhD in Cell Biology, Immunology, or related field;
- Proven experience in cell culture, specifically with primary cell culture from human blood and tissue samples;
- Experience in flow cytometry;
- Ideally experience in genetic engineering, NGS workflow development, and TCR sequencing.
