New vacancy! Senior Scientist - £35,000-£40,000
Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Senior Scientist for a leading materials and technology company based in Cheshire. The Senior Scientist will be part of the research & development team where they will help to create new technology for the company.
If you are PhD educated in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science or a closely related field and are interested in a heavily lab-based role then please get in touch to apply!
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Preparing, conducting and interpreting experimental trials or development programmes within the lab.
- Actively contribute towards the maintenance of lab equipment and general cleanliness in order to maximise health & safety within the lab.
- Play a vocal role in the team by constructively challenging your own ideas as well as anyone else in the team.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and innovation for a more cohesive workforce in order to maximise productivity and efficiency within the team.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining your experimental records to a high standard in addition to completing COSHH & Risk assessments as well as any other documentation required.
Requirements:
- In order to be considered for this role you must have a PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science or a closely related field.
- You must posses lab experience whether in academia or industry.
- Any experience with product development processes would be highly desirable.
- UK driving licence.
