Senior Formulation Chemist - Pharmaceuticals
A Pharmaceutical Company in North Yorkshire are currently looking to add a Senior Formulation Chemist to their team, primarily responsible for developing new pharmaceutical formulations and product development studies using process design principles such as QBD
As a Senior Formulation Chemist you will have prior experience with pharmaceutical formulation and process design with a good understanding of process design principles including Design of Experiment and Quality by Design
Responsibilities
- Developing new and existing pharmaceutical product including Tablets, Oral Solutions and Aseptics
- Design and complete product development studies in accordance with statistically designed experiments using DoE and QBD
- Escalate and resolve project, manufacturing, and analytical issues in a timely manner
- Prepare and review of GMP related documentation (Protocols, reports, standard operating procedures, specifications)
Requirements
- BSc or equivalent in a Chemistry related subject is essential
- Industry experience with pharmaceutical formulation and process development is essential
- Industry experience support CMC dossier generation is desirable
