Job Title: R&D Chemist - Entry Level/ Graduate
Location: Merseyside
Science Solutions are now working with a global chemical distributor, who are looking for a creative and confident R&D Chemist to work in the Personal Care department. The company are growing and looking for the newest member of the team! They develop Personal Care products and are now exploring Home Care products! The role will be primarily Personal Care but will also offer exposure to Home Care products.
Responsibilities:
- Research market trends.
- Developing new formulas in the laboratory to fit customer demand and trends.
- Working with various departments such as Marketing and Sales and creating presentations on products to assist each team.
- 50% office-based research, presentations liaising, 50% lab formulation and development
- Answer customer queries on products, formulas and ingredients.
- Occasional travel to meet various customers and attend exhibitions.
Skills:
- Science degree.
- Competent IT user.
- Experience in Home Care/ Personal Care/ Cosmetics.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Degree or Diploma in Cosmetic Science.
