QA Technician - FMCG - Northampton

Requirements:
- Chemistry degree or relevant subject
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, individually and part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to accurately record all data and good eye for detail
- Excellent sense of smell
- Flexibility required to cover shifts
- Previous experience in the chemical industry, fragrances specifically would be highly desired
Responsibilities:
- Releasing raw materials, fragrance and laboratory batches after specification testing
- Retesting of all batches and materials due
- Problem solving
- Rading and entering all data onto QC SYSTEM
- Record all non-conformances, reworking and blending.
- Keeping QC SYSTEM updated
- Release and maintenance of materials and batches
- Liaising with Customer services
- Adhering to company's health and safety policies and procedures
