Have you built up experience in the quality control or testing of chemical products and are now ready to step up into a full management role? Do you have a good basis in method development on analytical platforms such as LC-MS or GC-MS and in the quality systems used daily? This QC Manager role is a great opportunity to join my client as they expand their laboratory management team due to a really impressive period of business growth.

Your day to day duties as QC Manager will be:

  • Leading the improvement of internal quality management systems
  • Management of a small team of analysts
  • Developing methods on LC-MS, HPLC and GC platforms
  • Ensuring work in the laboratory complies with analytical and HSE standards

A background in the following is required for the role:

  • Experience in a supervisory role in chemical manufacturing or testing
  • A degree in a chemistry, or similar, field
  • Knowledge of chemical testing, such as GC, HPLC, wet chemistry
  • Experience of implementing change in QA/QMS
