Science Solutions - QC Manager - Pharmaceuticals
Science Solutions are currently recruiting for a QC Manager to join a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company in the North East responsible for management and running for the QC function and staff, assigning resources to ensure all testing is completed right and on time.
Reporting to the Head of Quality; as a QC Manager you will be significantly experienced within Pharmaceutical Quality Control and Analytical Chemistry including management of the testing schedule for finished products, raw materials and stability samples and management or supervision of a team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the testing schedule of R&D products, finished samples, raw materials and stability samples ensuring all testing is completed on time and in compliance with GMP standards.
- Follow, promote and enforce relevant SOPs, job aids, company policies and procedures
- Perform release paperwork for raw materials, stability studies and manufactured products.
Key Requirements
- Significant experience withing Pharmaceutical Quality Control including supervision or management of colleague.
- Significant experience with analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, dissolution, FTIR, UV-vis etc including troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
- Expertise in GMP along with quality documentation such as batch release records, SOPs etc.
