Science Solutions - QC Analyst - Cheshire - £18-£20k - Pharmaceuticals
Science Solutions are currently recruiting for a QC Analyst for an expanding company in Cheshire
This is a varied QC role including exposure to method development and running stability trials
Would suit a graduate with some good pharmaceutical lab experience
Key responsibilities:
* To routinely test raw materials, finished products, stability samples and investigational samples using analytical techniques
* To assist in the development and validation of release and stability indicating methods
* To test and report results to GMP standards as per company SOP's
* To calibrate and maintain equipment in the laboratories
* To write reports, SOPs and other documentation when required
* To maintain laboratories to GMP standards
* Any other duties as required
Knowledge and experience:
* A Science degree or equivalent
* Knowledge of Quality Control
* Knowledge of GMP
* Experience of working in an analytical QC environment
* Good working knowledge of HPLC, GC and dissolution testing
* Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
* Ability to be calm, patient and assertive
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to use Microsoft Office and the Internet
* Ability to adapt to change
