Role: QA Lab Assistant/Technician
Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum - depending on experience
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Shifts: Full time, Permanent - 14:45 - 23:15 or 13:00 - 21:00 or 14:00 - 22:00
Science Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for a QA/Quality Assurance Lab Assistant/Technician to join our client due to predicted growth plans. Our client is looking for an QA/Quality Assurance Lab Assistant/Technician with the ambition and character to 'own' the role. They will be expected to undertake all characteristics of Quality Assessments and testing using ECS's Quality systems and procedures.
Role:
- Testing of componentry and products to set standards.
- Monitoring of finished goods quality in production and actioning failures identified.
- Supporting manufacturing and material trials.
- Supporting R&D department when required.
Person:
- 1-2 years laboratory experience in an FMCG industry.
- Able to communicate with internal and external individuals at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Fluent English communication skills - both verbal and written, with a confident and proficient telephone manner.
- Good education, degree level preferably in a scientific discipline.
- Exceptional Microsoft office skills.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
Desirable Skills:
- Quality and formulation experience from a technical viewpoint
- Outstanding Communication skills
- IT literate (MS Office)
- Wet Chemistry Techniques
- Good organisational skills
