My client is looking for a graduate chemist with a year in industry or 1-2 years industrial experience to work as a process chemist converting waste biomass into high purity chemicals. This low-energy, environmentally friendly process turns tree pulp into raw chemicals via a sonication process.
You'll be hand's on with their reactor as well as providing support to the analytical team. If you're a graduate chemist based in the Leicester area or are willing to relocate, this is a great role to apply for.
Requirements
- MChem, MSc or BSc in Chemistry or related subject
- A year in industry as part of your degree or 1-2 years' experience after graduating
- Experience with HPLC/organic chemical analyses
- A positive, hands on approach to chemistry
In return my client is offering excellent salaries and the opportunity to work on a really exciting project, contributing to a clean, green approach to chemical production
