Are you an organic chemist looking to move towards larger scale development projects? An experienced chemist with an eye on route scale-up of gram quantities to plant scales can step up into a process chemist position at a global speciality chemicals company based in the North West.
Your day to day duties as a Process Chemist will be:
- Developing routes from lab to full plant scale manufacture of high value chemical products
- Liaising with production and QC staff to ensure reproducibility
- Research into new revenue streams
You will be an ideal candidate with this background:
- A degree, or higher, in a chemistry-related field
- PhD Chemistry is required if <5 less industrial lab-based experience
- A track record of innovation in the laboratory
- Knowledge of large scale chemical manufacture is highly desirable
