I am working with a targeted drug discovery biotech in the North West of England, looking for an experienced medicinal chemistry leader to join the growing team. You will be providing your expert scientific and strategic leadership to the discovery and delivery of quality candidates to the project plan.
Responsibilities include:
- Medicinal Chemistry leadership
- Project leadership, working interdisciplinary to develop and deliver the scientific strategy providing your expert technical advice
- Co-ordinate the writing of patents and conference presentations and publications
- Management of CRO collaborations and commercial partners
- Effectively communicate project progress to senior management and stake holders
Key Responsibilities:
- 5 years' experience as a medicinal chemist, leading medicinal chemistry efforts to deliver the development of clinical candidate compounds
- Evidence of project leadership experience
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Knowledge and experience in contemporary drug discovery
- Contributed towards patents and publications
