A Norwich-based biotechnology company is seeking a Plant Biologist to join their team utilising advanced molecular genetics techniques for the improvement of high-value commercial crops.
As a Plant Biologist you will be instrumental in the development and implementation of the company's proprietary technology in a range of crops, designing and executing methods for plant genome editing for new trait development.
Requirements for this role:
- PhD in a Plant science-based discipline, ideally with some postdoctoral experience;
- Experience in plant tissue culture and plant transformation;
- Proven experience with RNA biology and RNAi in plants and pathogens;
- Experience in molecular biology, genome editing, and vector design.
