Are you an experienced Microbiologist, who possesses great attention to detail and an interest in treating and preventing Microbiology issues? Science Solutions are currently working with a consumer goods manufacturer who are looking for a dedicated and passionate Microbiologist to join their team.
Your role will involve developing various testing processes for all raw materials and equipment as well as monitoring finished products, whilst ensuring quality of products is top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct Microbiological testing of water, raw materials, bulk and finished products in compliance with laboratory methods and SOPs, also conduct environmental testing
* Investigate any issues and work to prevent any issues relating to quality of products
* Develop and document microbiology laboratory processes and prepare final reports, working closely with other departments within the business
* Release raw materials, bulks and finished goods from quarantine after testing
* Conduct physical testing of bulk and finished products, ensuring to comply with SOPs and laboratory methods
* Ensure all data and reporting is accurately recorded
* Raise any non-conformances where necessary, for raw materials, bulks and finished goods as well as reporting any equipment failures to the Supervisor
* Maintain high standards of GLP and GMP at all times
Key Requirements:
* A degree in Microbiology or similar
* Experience within a Microbiology lab, with good understanding of testing techniques gained from your experience
* Experience working in a GLP and GMP environment
* Experience working in a micro-Quality department in clean room/sterile environment
* Understanding and proven application of cGMP regulations and international guidelines in a sterile/clean room area
