Laboratory Technician
I am working on behalf of my client to recruit a Laboratory Technician into their site in the Greater Manchester area. As Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for assisting the development of products within the polymers industry: coatings, inks, pigments. You will also be responsible for conducting tests on materials and end products.
To be considered for this Laboratory Technician position you will be degree educated in Chemistry or a relevant field – focus on Polymer Chemistry would be preferred. You will also have previous experience within laboratory environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the formulation of new and existing products.
- Conduct tests on materials and analyse data.
- Oversee QC in the laboratory.
- Work alongside customers to provide solutions to any issues.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
Experience/Background:
- Degree educated in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience in laboratory environments.
- Previous experience working within the polymers industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of regulations and safety measures.
