A biotechnology company based in Oxford is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team providing analysis and diagnostic services to treat infectious diseases. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to make the move into industry and develop the skills to enhance their career.
As a Lab Technician you'll be responsible for carrying out analytical testing on customer samples using a range of cell biology and biochemical techniques, ensuring work is completed to meet both laboratory and customer requirements in line with the company's quality standards, and assisting senior members of staff in the resolution of any issues that arise with analytical methods.
Requirements for this role:
- BSc in relevant biological discipline;
- Previous experience working in a laboratory either from degree or placement year;
- Ideally some experience in flow cytometry with a knowledge of quality standards such as GLP, GMP and ISO systems.
