Role: Shift Technician (8 hours shifts M-F)

Science Solutions Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Technician to join our client's pilot food facility and laboratory. You will be facilitating the laboratory as a Shift Technician to solve issues in the scale-up process, and to produce food grade mycoprotein which will be formulated into trial products for customer. This excellent Shift Technician role is based within the Lab, you will have laboratory equipment experience and an excellent attention to detail.
Role:
The role will include;
- Pilot scale operation
- Expansion of strong processing and production of food grade product
- Producing an understanding of the fermentation process, heat treatment, isolation and packaging robustness and key operating structures
- Operating under HACCP and ISO certification
- Helping to progress process robustness
- Collaboration with engineering teams to advance process
- Opportunity for commissioning experience in Holland
Person:
- Food production expertise is desirable for this role.
- Some experience of engineering and maintenance or working under HACCP, ISO or GMP are desirable.
- Able to operate independently and will report to shift lead.
