This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with synthetic experience to join a pharmaceutical company in the North-West who are recruiting for a Junior Synthetic Chemist to undertake chemical projects as directed by Project Chemists and Team Leaders. The ideal Junior Synthetic Chemist candidate will maintain accurate records of all work carried out, contribute to the successful completion of projects and be prepared to travel when required.
Key Duties as a Junior Synthetic Chemist
- Carry out practical organic chemistry experiments
- Work closely with PRD Team Leaders to ensure that project targets are met
- Interpret results and suggest meaningful experiments to further the progress of the project
- Work in a clean, safe and tidy manner adhering to company policy on 5S
Key Requirements
- Degree educated in Chemistry or a related field
- Good communication skills and flexibility
- 1 year's relevant experience
