Junior NPD Manager – Cosmetics – London
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Junior NPD Manager to work with a market leader in cosmetics to manage new and existing product pipelines in the eye cosmetics sector. The industry leaders, home to a solid portfolio of globally recognized brands, is looking for a cosmetics expert who has great passion for the beauty industry to run the day to day operations as a Junior NPD Manager. Can you work well under pressure and with cross-divisional teams to ensure products are released to market on time? The Junior NPD Manager could be the one for you.
Role & Responsibilities
- Obtaining quotations and samples, negotiate costs, brief suppliers and prepare gross margin calculations for internal approval.
- Managing development CPA’s, ensuring teams completes their tasks by the specified date as well as all development and approved PPS, keeping everything labelled and stored as required.
- Supporting with NPD Gate meetings each month to update senior figures with project updates.
- Overseeing product specification sheets, updating, issuing and filing correctly.
- Organising and managing samples, labelling, receiving and sending parcels for suppliers and internal teams.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in NPD Project Management
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving industry
- Ability to multi-task and work on simultaneous requests
- Team player in a collaborative working method
- Great communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience and knowledge of the beauty industry and cosmetic products
