Gene Editing Scientist - Biotechnology
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join an expanding Biotech company as a Gene Editing Scientist, you will be required to contribute to the delivery of the company portfolio of service and projects.
Responsibilities
- You will work independently to plan and organise, execute, troubleshoot and deliver gene editing projects in accordance with the project plans.
- You will contribute to the direction of the project and use previous knowledge to optimise processes.
- You will prepare data packages and report on delivery and project status to the Principal Scientist.
Required Skills
- You will have practical experience with genome engineering in stem cells and be experienced in mammalian cell culture.
- You will have a clear understanding of molecular biology techniques including DNA, RNA and protein extraction, PCR and RT-qPCR
- You will have the ability to test and troubleshoot new assays and techniques.
- You will have a PhD or MSc or equivalent experience in biological sciences.
