My Client is a global lubricant, grease and oil supplier and R&D leader. They've recently invested millions in a brand-new R&D formulation centre and are looking for a talent formulation scientist to join their team.

You will;
- Actively contribute to the company vision to be the global, go to solutions provider for grease and lubricants
- Identify formulations to improve performance, reduce cost and/or provide competitive advantage the business
- Conduct product testing to evaluate potential formulations, using internal equipment and working with external partners
- Develop test methodologies to demonstrate products meet specifications
- Manage your own projects from conception to supervision of scale trials and beyond
- Represent the company externally, including delivery of presentations, papers
- Support colleagues in communications with customers, including response to requests for Technical Support
You will have;
- A minimum of a BSc in Chemistry (Postgraduate qualifications are desirable)
- Experience of formulation (preferably in an industrial setting)
- Excellent time and project management skills
- The ability to work effectively on personal projects as well as part of a larger team
- Great communication skills with the ability to discuss scientific topics with a variety of audiences
