Senior Formulation Chemist, Lancashire
Our client is looking for a formulation chemist to join their team in Lancashire. You will be the chemist responsible for the formulation of a range of new chemical and microbial cleaning products. The role will also involve testing impacts of these products on the environment and producing new formulations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing day-to-day formulation research and development operations
- Developing and formulating new chemical and microbiological products
- Developing laboratory experiments to test chemical formulations
- Maintaining records of experimental results
- General laboratory health and safety and risk assessments
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Minimum 2 years formulation experience in either chemicals, cosmetics, biocides or a similar industry sector
- A minimum BSc degree level in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
- Past chemistry lab experience with a knowledge of COSHH
- An understanding of UK environmental regulations
- Full right to work in the UK
- In the North Lancashire area or willing to relocate
