I am currently supporting our client with the recruitment of a Fermentation Process Engineer for their plant based in central Scotland.
Our client are a rapidly-expanding food biotech company who are currently building a full scale plant in Europe. As Process Engineer you will support and compliment the Fermentation Team within the pilot facility to ensure engineering compliance and continued process development.
Responsibilities of the role:-
- You will ensure the site, plant and personnel, including external contractors conform to H&S legislation, policies and standards.
- You will source and manage process improvement projects to meet the requirements of the growth of the business
- You will hold an engineering qualification have an understanding of control systems and a knowledge of food safety systems and legislation knowledge for example electrical compliance, COSHH and IOSH.
