EC&I Engineer
Contract opportunity for an experienced Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer (EC&I Engineer) needed to access and develop systems and meet compliance requirements for a growing Chemical manufacturing site in East Anglia.
The EC&I Engineer requires proven ability, be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team responsible for day-to-day site operations including, maintenance, problem solving, COMAH and detailed project work including assessment of on-going distributed control systems (DCS).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer to gain contractor experience within COMAH plant initially on a short-term basis but with room for extensions. The position offers a competitive pay rate of £40-£65ph which is negotiable dependant on experience, a quick interview process and an immediate start is available.

- Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH)
- HSE
- ATEX knowledge
- Pre-emptive maintenance, operational breakdown support experience
- Plant & Process knowledge
Control systems & software experience:
- Siemens PSC 7
- Allen Bradley coding,
- SLC, control Logix,
- Factory talk
- Texas PLC programming
Qualification and Education
Engineering Degree (BEng or MEng) Electrical, Electronic, Systems and Instrumentation Engineering
HND or HNC with site/plant experience
