Salary £23,000 - £28,000 DOE per annum

A global scientific consultancy-based Contract Research Organisation (CRO) with in-house laboratory testing capabilities, rapidly developing its position as a full-service solutions provider to the life sciences sector.
The Role
The Associate Toxicologist will support the Chemical Toxicology Lead to produce written toxicological analyses of chemicals identified in liquids, aerosol, and from leachable/extractable studies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Support the Principal toxicologists in the delivery of accurate, on-time toxicology data to clients
- Liaise with other teams or suppliers as necessary
- Support the writing of scientific papers Key tasks
- Perform literature searches
- Prepare toxicological profiles
- Perform quantitative risk assessments of individual chemicals and mixtures
- Keep the ToxHQ database up to date
- Any other duties determined as necessary by management
- Master's degree in toxicology plus 2 years' experience in toxicological risk assessment or 4+ years' experience
