We are recruiting on behalf on an industry leading adhesives manufacturer, who are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the Scotland and Ireland territories. As an Area Sales Manager, you will help increase revenue for the business in untapped areas across Scotland and Ireland. To be considered for this role, you will have previous B2B sales experience, preferably in the adhesives industry however this is not essential, and you will have a proven track record winning new business as this will be a major part of the role. You will also be based in either Scotland or Ireland due to the travel commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow company revenue by building relationships with existing and new clients and providing the right solution based on needs
- Identify new product opportunities and gaps in the market, and liaise with internal departments to meet products goals
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints where required
- Present complex ranges and negotiate at many levels of seniority
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a B2B Sales/Merchandising environment, preferably within the adhesives industry however this is not essential
- Proven track record winning new business and growing accounts
- Be based in either Scotland or Ireland due to travel commitments
