Analytical Chemist - Essex
An opportunity for a graduate or someone with 1-2 years of analytical industry experience. Our client is looking for someone with experience in industrial analytical chemistry to join their research team in Essex. The role will consist of analysing samples with HPLC, LC-MS and other chromatographic techniques in a GLP lab.
Responsibilities Include:
- Sample preparation and analysis with HPLC and LC-MS
- Adherence to GLP standards
- Developing and validating analytical methods
- Ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Mentoring junior staff (depending on experience level)
You Will Need:
- A minimum BSc degree in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
- A minimum 2 years' industrial experience with either HPLC, LC-MS or GC
- Experience working in a GLP lab
- Computer literacy
- Full right to work within the UK
