Agronomist - Midlands
Our client is looking for an experienced agronomist or someone with a strong agrochemical background to join their team in the midlands. There will be a large element of travel associated with this position and would suit a commercially minded agronomist looking for a new challenge.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working in the field to ensure crop yields are met and financial targets are within budget
- Using your agricultural knowledge to offer support with agricultural legislation
- Using your understanding of micronutrients to improve plant and soil health
- Providing technical recommendations for growers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A minimum 2 years in an agronomist, trials, or similar agricultural profession
- A full UK drivers' license
- A commercial mind and/or willingness to develop these skills
- A BASIS qualification
- A degree in an agronomy-based degree or equivalent experience
- Full right to work in the UK
