Material Science & Engineering is a very specialist sector with only a few Universities around the UK providing degree & advanced courses in the subject. Graduates of materials with a specialist area in a subject such as a specific area of composite materials (glass fibre, flexible), are highly sought after and often attracted by the highest bidder, most prestigious organisation or interesting project. We work with candidates from a materials background, either fresh graduates or experienced, to find them the best opportunity for them taking into account what drives them technically & otherwise. Equally from a client perspective we will provide a comprehensive service inclusive of a full headhunt to find them their desired candidate from an experience & personality perspective. We have significant experience in the specific materials disciplines such as Nanomaterials, Composite Materials, Polymer Materials, Ceramics & Glass Materials amongst other more specific areas.
What my role consists of- Focussing on permanent, temporary and executive recruitment within scientific and technical disciplines across polymer and coatings UK markets.Fun fact- Held the Olympic torch for 10 seconds – not so much an achievement, nor is it that fun, but I’m scrapping the barrel.Hobbies and interest- Love spending time with my family and going on adventures. Best days out with my friends would be watching Sheffield United or going to Cheltenham races.
